Current Mood : Ready for tomorrow !

Yaaaay ! My Amazon.com order, the one with Robecca Steam, shipped today ! She’s on the way, via FedEx, and is expected to arrive Saturday. Whoo-hoo ! I’m so glad the search is over – and so happy that, far as I know, this is the last doll I want this year. Sure, I’d love to have this one or that one, mostly for her clothes and shoes, but I haven’t seen any other dolls yet that made me want to really search for her obsessively. I’ve even seen the exclusive Ghoulia-Abbey-DracuLaura ‘Dot Dead Gorgeous’ set, and don’t want it (just the shoes, as always !). I feel so relaxed !

If you’re still looking for your own Robecca, walmart.com is offering site to store for her, to arrive as early as Monday 8/13. I’ve used site to store several times, it’s a great way to get what you want and not pay shipping – and it only takes a few days. You even get Mal-Wart’s usual lowest price. Might be worth it if you’re looking for her, to see if it’s the same where you are.

I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I was up early this morning, to buy hamburger. Well, it was the last day of the sale, and was a full buck a pound cheaper than I’ve seen it in months. Even those plastic sausage-tube ‘chubs’ are more expensive than what I went out to get today. Bought nearly seventeen pounds, which is ridiculous, but it’s not like it’ll go bad in the freezer, and we’ll definitely use it. I also found some of that great gouda I loved – I thought it was only in that one grocery store by where M & FIL live – so I snagged a pack, with a couple other cheap treats. Yes, loss-leader sales work on me, every time. But often as not, I ‘cherry pick’, which is  when you buy nothing but the loss-leader.

Finished cleaning up the Arena and completely missed the Pop Up Video premiere, because I keep forgetting that VH1’s ‘noon on Monday’ is ‘11am Monday’ for us. Shoot. It’ll be on tomorrow, though, and I know better now !

Not much else going on, so I’m gonna crash. We’re expecting Maintenance here tomorrow – we got a ceiling link from the air conditioning – and I got some serious rest-of-the-place cleaning I’ve neglected for nearly a week ! Up early will get it done in time.
