Sunny days = spray paint !

Current Notes: Yee-haw ! Finally remembered to fix AJ's hat !

Wednesday seems to be my ‘nothin’ goin’ on’ day. Rode up with Beloved Hubby to the dump to ditch our old water heater and a second-hand chair FIL finished wearing out, plus some other half-rotted backyard junk. The truck was packed pretty tight ! And, of course, we hit traffic that put us a half-hour later than expected, dangerously close to closing time at the transfer station. Luckily, we got there two minutes before close and the attendant said we could proceed if we put some ‘go’ in it. We did, and were out of there before the two other trailer-trucks there before us were even finished securing their straps.

It’s always such a relief to get a big, slightly delayed job finished. Truck smells much better, too ! And the neighbor still has much to complain about (rest easy, he will), but at least some of the trash is gone, finally. Too bad we’ve already filled one pick-up can…and pick up’s not ‘til Tuesday !

In other news, it was such a nice day that we had plenty of time to finally spray-paint Apple Jack’s hat. You may remember back in February (I think), Dearest Son bought a MLP AJ, mostly because that one came with her hat, unlike the one he already had. Unfortunately, the hat was teal. So I promised him that when the weather improved, we’d spray-paint it with the brown textured Fusion we already had. It came out great ! I still think the black sparkle would have looked good, too…
